Our Story

Story time…

My friend Andrea, as a single mom, looking for ways to make supplemental income and raise her children. Started making pasta in her kitchen in the early 2000s. As her recipes took form, Pasta di Ana took shape. Andrea and her daughter, Anabeth, purchased an Italian pasta extruder in 2008. For the next 10 or so years her business continued, selling her pasta in the local shops, until Andrea had an injury that made her need to stop making pasta. Once she recovered, her daughter got engaged and married, and being too much for Andrea to handle on her own she decided to sell the pasta business.

Pasta di Ana continued for several years…only instead of supporting a single mother, it supported the Anzaldua family and the launching of their family business, Heritage Food Crafters.

In late 2024, I purchased what is now known as Olive Grove Pasta. After only a little over a year of being a pasta maker I said goodbye to the 9 to 5 to begin a pasta loving journey…

The Pasta - Made in Waco

Olive Grove Pasta is a women owned pasta company rooted in Waco, Texas. Dedicated to the time-honored traditions that transform simple ingredients into one of the most loved foods…pasta.

The Craft Behind Every Batch

Every shape we make begins with one ingredient we refuse to compromise on: pure imported Italian semolina flour, stone-milled from durum wheat in the traditional regions where pasta has been made for centuries. And this gives a depth of flavor that ordinary flour simply cannot match.

With our Italian pasta extruder our shapes are formed through bronze dies. This bronze-cut extrusion leaves the pasta with a naturally rough, porous surface. That texture is not accidental. It is what holds your sauce, pulls in the flavor, and transforms a simple weeknight meal into something you remember.

After shaping, each batch is air-dried low and slow — never rushed — preserving the pasta's integrity, its al dente bite, and its ability to cook evenly every time.

Thank You for Being Here

Whether you found us at a local market, through a friend, or while searching for pasta that is actually worth cooking — we are glad you are here. We hope our pasta finds its way into meals that matter: Sunday dinners, weeknight rituals, first dinner parties, quiet evenings in. That is what we make it for.
